Sabina Choragwicki

Sabin Chragwicki is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Architecture where she received her master’s degree in 2020, and bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies with an English minor in 2018. She is a Polish American who grew up on the south side of Chicago. Sabina has also lived in Barcelona where she attended the Escola Tecnica Superior d’Arquitectura del Valles architecture school. Her immigrant background and time living abroad has cultivated a spirit for travel, and she was awarded the Ryerson Traveling Fellowship from UIUC in 2020 for her thesis “Precedent and Interpretation.”
Throughout her studies and since joining Canopy, Sabina has cultivated an interest in research driven and social impact design. She is currently studying for ARE Exams and is pursuing licensure. Outside of the office, Sabina practices yoga, collects antiques and loves spending time outdoors with her dog.

Favorite book?
1984 by George Orwell and The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway are tied. These are classics I’ve read multiple times.
