With over 12 years of project experience in Chicago and Europe, Philip provides a thoughtful approach to creating well-designed, healthy and sustainable spaces for inhabitants.
Philip has design and project management experience at all project scales in the Chicago area, from furniture design to large multi-family housing (both renvoation and new construction), elementary schools and commercial projects, as well as Passive House sustainability consulting. Working with his former firm at Landon Bone Baker Architects and coordinating closely with the Chicago Building Department, Philip was the project architect on Chicago’s first new construction Passive House project, the recently completed LUCHA Tierra Linda 6-Flat in Humboldt Park.
At Canopy, Philip works on institutional and multi-family affordable housing projects in all phases from schematic design to construction documents and construction administration. Outside of the office, Philip enjoys spending time with his family, painting watercolors and is an avid cinephile.
